Comment on handheld power by Dustin

I am a big fan of flea markets, garage sales and thrift stores. They are great places to find used parts and materials for your next project. But one of the problems I've often come across are not be able to test electronics powered by batteries to see if they work. Because there are so many different combinations of batteries used in portable electronic devices, it is not really practical to carry batteries for testing. A single device can require 6 AA and another may require 4 d so I came up with this simple Pocket variable power. It can plug in a 9V battery or a 12V battery. You can then adjust the output voltage depending on the device you want to test and attach the leads to the end terminals on the battery of the device connectors. This allows you to power the camera long enough to see if it works.
